Top Travel and Local Apps Performance in Latin America Q2 2025

In the second quarter of 2025, the leading travel and local apps in Latin America demonstrated varied performance in terms of downloads and active users. According to data from Sensor Tower, here are the key insights:

Airbnb showed a declining trend in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 442K and dropping to around 275K by the end of the quarter. Its weekly active users started at about 9.4M, dipped mid-quarter, but rebounded to just over 9.1M by the end of June.

Instabridge: WiFi Hotspot Map experienced a steady decline in weekly downloads from 245K to 154K. However, its weekly active users saw a slight increase towards the end of the quarter, reaching around 1.17M.

Google Earth maintained a stable number of weekly downloads, fluctuating between 110K and 155K. Weekly active users for Google Earth showed a minor fluctuation, closing the quarter at approximately 2.2M.

Despegar: vuelos y hoteles experienced consistency in weekly downloads, averaging around 130K. Its weekly active users displayed a slight increase, ending the quarter at around 2.3M.

Finally, SUBE showed relatively steady weekly downloads, hovering around 80K to 94K. Weekly active users for SUBE remained stable, closing the quarter at approximately 4M.
